It has been soooo long!!! So for a couple years I've been experimenting on my hair I cut it two years ago into an inverted bob and "technically" started over. My hair was relaxed in high school for a class my mom was teaching to other professionals. Problem was I don't have texture for relaxers. My hair is very curly and fine. It's not thick like I wish it was but my new do and experiment were to see if I can get my hair to become thicker. So over the past two years here is what I've come too. Fact: Shampoos are very harsh to your hair and you should really only wash your hair 2/3 times a week. It strips the protein from your hair and that is what makes your hair healthy and shiny. I started washing my hair 2/3 a week March 2011, April 2012 I took it down to once a week. I noticed a big difference! My hair wasn't dry and frizzy and it was very soft and bouncy. Its May 2013 and I've deciding to cut the shampoo out completely. I use Aussie product on my hair which is what works best for me. I will still be doing deep conditioners but as far as the shampoos and the harsh sulfates in the shampoo. The biggest change I've noticed is my length. I HAVE NEVER SEEN MY HAIR GROW SO FAST!! I want to see what cutting this out will do. I've read on different natural ways to clean your hair. I'll be updating on how that goes :)
P.S sorry I know it's been awhile
