FIRST BLOG POST YIPPIE!

Hello all, Let me start out by giving you some of my background aka history. I started a hair diary a few months ago on face-book to track and keep a follow-up on my new haircut. I cut my hair on April 30th, 2011. My hair was a little past my shoulders and now its a bob! My whole life has circled around my hair. Why.. You ask? Because my mother is a hairstylist/hairdresser what ever term you prefer to call them. While she was in beauty school I was her doll. She has tried everything in the book on my hair! From ugly to cute, and stylish to way out of the now-decade lol. But I've been through it all twenty one years of my life. I've had red, green, blond, and black hair. I've had a curly perm, straight perm (relaxer), and a wavy perm. I've had long, short, and medium length hair with different lengths of my bangs. I know I can't speak for all of you with future blogs to come but I am determined to help where I can. When I cut my hair, that started my journey to new all-natural curly hair. I have the type of hair that is like silk in your hands but curly at the same time! Some times we (me and my hair) have a love-hate relationship. But we work together through humidity and thin lol. Let me add a side note that I have had an addiction to coloring my hair. If i can't have color I have to style or cut it. THANKS MOM.. :) I'm slowly getting over this addiction and want to actually see my real hair color. I have heard that "if it ain't natural it ain't real"...lol and I am learning how true this is. This is my journey with my new hair, why don't you join me?
