3 steps to Hydration

Hydration is very important when it comes to your hair. I thought why not its hurricane season so it would be best to discuss the pros and cons to hydrating your hair.
#1: First we will start with washing. It is only required that you wash your hair once maybe twice a week. Three times if you are doing activities that will make your hair dirty. By washing your hair not only are you just washing away germs, bacteria, and anything other disgusting thing but you are washing way the PROTEIN IN YOUR HAIR!!! I hope you knew that you had protein in your hair and that is what makes it grow. So washing your hair more than two times a week will strip it and it won’t grow at a normal rate. You can still take a shower everyday and get your hair wet it always loves water just doesn’t need to be cleaned all the time.
#2: DO NOT USE SOAP, DISH SOAP, OR LAUNDRY DETERGENT ON YOUR HAIR!!! I know sometimes you really need something to wash your hair out of but that’s why these products have different names for different uses. Using any of the three will/can damage your hair. Also putting any unwanted chemicals not only in your hair but on your head that holds your brain. Although I haven’t found any studies yet that show these can harm your brain or cause defects, I’m VERY sure they can. Find products with less chemicals and more natural/organic ways to shampoo and condition your hair. The more natural the more your hair will be the way you want it. You have to remember back in the day they didn’t have shampoos and conditioners, they used certain vegetables, oils, fruits, plants..etc. to do the same things to their hair.
#3: Watch what you‘re drinking. Caffeine has been found to stop hair from growing at its normal rate. Try cutting down on your caffeine intake everyday or cut it out of your normal diet PERIOD! Drink water, your body is supposed to be over 90% of water (it is at birth) we are about 70% because the average person doesn’t drink enough water in a day or lifetime but when we began to grow up we start leaning away from what is healthy for us and our bodies and as for our hair being part of the body the best way to the best hair is to hydrate it from the inside with water. Think about it, it’s like watering a plant. Plants need sun and water to grow. In our case our hair needs Protein and water to grow properly.
