CHEMICALS ARE BAD!

So its been awhile!! YES I KNOW. I apologize I’ve been very busy. ;)
I wanted to share some natural herbal ways to treat your hair without all the chemicals. CHEMICALS ARE BAD.. THEY HARM YOUR HAIR and studies have been shown THEY MAY/CAN ALSO CAUSE BRAIN DAMAGE!!! Ahhhhh noooooo!
Here is something I found from another page-à which is everything below but heres the link: www.experience-essential-oils.com
Did you know that most shampoos hair and skincare products on the market contain synthetic materials that create many of our hair, scalp and skin problems?
Here are a few examples -
Propylene Glycol - inhibits skin cell growth; causes rashes, dry skin and skin irritation.
Sodium Lauryl Sulfate or Laureth Sulfate - surfactant that corrodes hair follicles, impairs ability to grow hair and causes inflammation of skin.
Oleyl betaine – causes dry hair, dandruff and dry scalp.
Mineral oils - petroleum products clog pores! Yes, the molecule is too big to be absorbed by the skin.
PLEASE if this is important to you check your labels. If your shampoo has a pH between 4 and 6 and doesn’t have synthetic compounds your hair is safe.
If you are adventurous, make them at home by using a base shampoo and adding oils that are right for your hair type or condition. I usually add 3 to 5 drops of each oil, but it is best to follow a recipe.
But, what is my hair type and what oils do I use?
No problem, below you will find the information on all the hair types and the corresponding oils. Also, provided is the carrier or base oils that are best for your hair type.
Oils for Normal Hair
Normal hair is neither greasy nor dry, has not been permed or colored, holds its style and is usually shiny.
These oils are best for normal hair: Lavender , Rosemary, Lemon, Geranium, Cedarwood, Thyme, Clary Sage all Essential oils

The best base or carrier oils to use are jojoba, almond or borage.
Oils for Dry Hair
Dry hair looks dull, tangles easily and can become easily split at the ends. Therefore, we want essential oils for hair that stimulate the sebaceous glands in the scalp to produce more oil!
Use these oils: Lavender, Rosemary, Sandalwood, or Geranium

The top base or carrier oils to use are almond, sesame, jojoba, borage, cocoa butter or avocado.
Oils for Oily Hair
Oily hair looks greasy and is caused by over production of sebum by the sebaceous glands. Therefore, we want essential oils for hair that restore the glands back to normal.
Use these oils: Lavender, Rosemary, Lemon, Peppermint, and Cypress
The top base or carrier oils are sesame, jojoba and borage.
Other Hair Challenges? Need to Cleanse the Hair?
Do you have a specific condition that you are challenged with?
No problem, here are my recommendations.
1. Use a cleansing shampoo or cleansing oils first before you start treatment. This will remove the buildup of chlorine, grease and chemicals in your hair and scalp.
2. Pick several essential oils for hair to use for shampooing and/or make a treatment with the base oil. (You may have to experiment with several oils until you find the best match.)
3. Use until the condition improves.
4. Start to include or use oils that stimulate growth next.
I use a cleansing shampoo with lemon, rosemary, cedarwood and peppermint oils for this purpose.
Oils for Dandruff
Essential oils can be very effective in minimizing or halting the problem. The best essential oil for treating dandruff is Melaleucca alternifolia Essential Oil or Tea Tree oil.
Here are some others: Rosemary, Lemon, Lavender, Cedarwood, Thyme, Basil, Cypress, Melrose Blend and Sage.
Ok back to what I really know J jk
For real though, I have a friend in the U.K who uses peppermint oil to make her hair grow. She puts a little on her hand and massages it into her scalp.
She does this maybe 2 or 3 times a day. I never thought peppermint could do such a thing. But it is definitely working for her. I’m not sure if this is for every texture hair but if you have very textured tight curls this is a plus for you to make your hair grow.

Please remember to check all hair products before using. If it has all natural ingredients then you in the CLEAR, if anything happens to have a name you don't understand or can't pronounce or numbers besides it; It would probably be best to just skip that product.  Natural oils for your hair are about the best route. Why would you want to put anything in your hair that you don't have the full background on.  I'm telling you, the HAIR THAT IS ON YOUR HEAD, YOUR HEAD THAT CONTAINS YOUR SKULL WHICH PROTECTS YOUR BRAIN. Things can happen just saying.

Once a gain visit the link below, it is where I got majority of this information :)
